Last night, I was told by a  friend via Facebook that I won the category of “Best Local Author” in the Electric City/Diamond City’s year-end best of list.  I then ran out to grab a copy of the paper and found out it’s true. I also want to mention that this Tuesday, Dec. 13 at 6:30 pm, the Osterhout Library in Wilkes Barre (71 S. Franklin St.) is hosting a poetry reading. It will feature instructors and students that took part in the poetry workshops the library ran during the fall. I’ll be reading, and I’ll be joined by some friends. There will also be an open mic. This event is free, so stop by!
